HAVERFORD, Pa. -

A man captured by surveillance cameras stealing copper from a Haverford church has been arrested, police announced Tuesday.

According to Havarford Police, 34-year-old Steven Michael Molitor of Upper Darby admitted to the thefts and admitted to three other thefts at nearby churches.

Police say he faces vandalism and stolen property charges.

Last week, officers were called to the Trinity Lutheran Church on the 1100 block of West Chester Pike after someone stole six copper downspouts from the building.

Investigators say they were able to identify their suspect after receiving tips from the public.
