Flickr - Generic Photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeremy2443/)WESTON (AP) - Two Weston middle school students have been disciplined after pouring whiteboard cleaner into their teacher's water bottle in what school officials called "an ill-conceived prank."
Schools Superintendent Cheryl Maloney said the teacher realized something was wrong with the water, and never drank it.
Maloney said the students were identified, and they apologized and were very remorseful. She wouldn't say specifically how they were disciplined.
School officials said the teacher told the school department he didn't feel the students meant to hurt him, so the department didn't contact police.
The department sent a note to parents about the incident Tuesday.
