CHESTER, Pa. -

Police in Chester are asking for the public's help to find a 14-year-old girl who went missing Tuesday night.

Police say Felicia Johnson was last seen in the area of her home on the 1500 block of Ridley Avenue in the Sun Hill section of Chester Tuesday around 6:45 p.m.

Johnson didn't show up to classes Wednesday morning at the Chester Community Charter School.

Her mother says an argument over a punishment Tuesday led to her daughter's storming out of the house.

Johnson's mother says her daughter has no money and no phone with her.

Police have been searching the area since Tuesday night. Officers hope she may be hiding out in a friend's home.

If you have any information about her whereabouts, you're asked to call the Detective Bureau at 610-447-7908.
