West Chester Approves $100 Fine For Discarding Cigarette Butts

WEST CHESTER, Pa. -

Borough Council Members in West Chester passed an ordinance that would establish a fine for anyone who improperly discards cigarette butts or other tobacco materials in public.

Council members discussed the proposed ordinance in a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.

The ordinance would include a minimum $100 fine.
