A man who had been living in the United States illegally for more than six years has been accused of recording a woman using a bathroom at a convenience store.
According to the Eagle Tribune, 26-year-old Mauricio Lisboa-Gomes took video of an 18-year-old coworker in the bathroom of J&M Convenience Store and Tiki's Pizzain Haverhill.
The Eagle Tribune reports that the victim noticed an iPod Touch device propped up in the employee bathroom on Oct. 11. When she picked the device up she told police the red indicator light was flashing indicating the device was recording.
A police report stated the woman brought the device to her supervisor and told him she believed it belonged to Lisboa-Gomes. The woman said Lisboa-Gomes would always go into the bathroom before her when she went to use it.
The woman also told police that Lisboa-Gomes had been touching her inappropriately while she was at work
Lisboa-Gomes was arrested on Oct. 12 and charged with indecent assault and battery and photographing an unsuspecting nude or partially nude person.
He also told police he had been living in the United States illegally for six years, the Eagle Tribune reported.
