PHILADELPHIA -
Is it possible the help the Eagles need could already be on the team?
FOX 29's Howard Eskin is reporting that left tackle Jason Peters is making a quicker recovery then expected from his Achilles injury.
Howard reports that Peters is in great shape, and the Eagles are cautiously optimistic that peters could return this season.
Peters was expected to miss the entire season after injuring his Achilles twice during the offseason.
Meanwhile, the Eagles have remained busy during the bye week
trying to improve the team. Former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Chris Williams
worked out for the team Wednesday.
Williams was a first-round pick of the Bears back in 2008,
but he was released by Chicago on Tuesday.
