
Police officers and animal control crews were able to catch a coyote that was running loose in Mattapan late Thursday morning.
Crews searched the area of Mildred Avenue for the animal after it was spotted running through the neighborhood at about 11:20 a.m.
Video from Skyfox showed several police units as well as animal control officers working to try to find and capture the animal.
The coyote was caught by two animal control officers that led the animal to van at about 12:35 p.m.
Mildred Avenue School was in safe mode for a time. That was lifted after the coyote was captured.
