It wasn't exactly the ideal carjacking for two car thieves in Denver after police say they stole a suburban full of live reptiles.

Denver Police say the suburban is used to take 15 reptiles, including a 13-foot python, to schools to educate and entertain students.

The suburban, which was stolen from a Walmart parking lot, was found abandoned near a West Denver park.

The owner of the suburban, Philip Rakoci, says the thieves took some of his camping equipment and other items, but he still got the most important things back.

In addition to the python, Rakoci says he also had an eight-foot snake, a tarantula, lizards and "stumpy," a three-legged tortoise that has been fitted with a wheel so that he can get around.
