(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Prices at the pump have been rising for months, but now there's word that gasoline prices will finally start to drop.
Gas prices have remained high since Memorial Day weekend due to supply shortages and refinery woes on the West Coast and in the Midwest.
The national average is current at $3.69 a gallon.
According to USA TODAY, gas inventories are on the rise and the demand for it is fading so prices are expected to drop nearly 50 cents a gallon within weeks.
