A Roseville man charged with trying to hire someone to kill his wife remains jailed on bond and has been ordered to undergo a competency exam.
68-year-old Charles Tringali appeared before a judge today in Fraser district court.
Police say they received a tip that Tringali was looking to hire someone to kill his wife of 27 years. An undercover Roseville detective says during a meeting Tringali talked about a location for the murder along with how to commit the crime.
He was arrested and is charged with solicitation of murder and faces up to life in prison if convicted. The case is scheduled to be back in court on December 19.
