Mass. teen writes book to help others

Posted: Updated:

There is nothing better than a brave teen that turns her tragedy into triumph, except for maybe a teen that also turns it into a teaching tool for others.

Using a pen name for security reasons, H.M. Fire's "Bad Throw, Good Catch" is filled with personal stories of struggles, as well as poems of raw emotion.

The teen who wrote it is a foster child who grew up in an abusive home, but now lives with a loving family in the Worcester area. She wrote the book to help other children that may be dealing with tough situations.

The book is available on Amazon.com.
