New York Slowly Getting Back To Normal After Sandy

Posted: Updated:

For New Yorkers, life is slowly getting back to normal after Sandy caused significant flooding and halted the city's subway system.

In Queens, firefighters began the process of cleaning up after as many as 100 homes caught fire during the storm.

Firefighters say the water was chest-high on the street, forcing them to rely on boats to make rescues.

While many subway stations are still flooded, the city was able to offer limited train service to residents Wednesday.
