    Politics takes center stage on Fox 2's Let it Rip Tonight.  Murray Feldman moderates a panel of guests who will weigh in heavily on their side of the issue:Up for debate: Proposal 3  (Standard for Renewable

Fox 2's Huel Perkins moderates a debate on Proposal 6, which if passes means no bridge to Canada or anywhere else will be constructed without the approval of the majority of Michigan voters.  Is this a way to effectively govern?

Governor Rick Snyder says no, and he opposes proposal 6. He joins Perkins for this final installment of the election issue versions of Let it Rip.

Matty Moroun's right hand man. Ambassador Bridge Co. President Dan Stamper is for proposal 6 and he joins Perkins on the couch.  His boss and company worked to get the proposal on the ballot.

Paul Welday is part of the Michigan's Republican think tank, but he is against proposal 6.

Ballot language:

A PROPOSAL TO AMEND THE STATE CONSTITUTION REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF INTERNATIONAL

BRIDGES AND TUNNELS

This proposal would:

Require the approval of a majority of voters at a statewide election and in each municipality where new international bridges or tunnels for motor vehicles are to be located before the State of Michigan may expend state funds or resources for acquiring land, designing, soliciting bids for, constructing, financing, or promoting new international bridges or tunnels.

Create a definition of new international bridges or tunnels for motor vehicles that means, any bridge or tunnel which is not open to the public and serving traffic as of January 1, 2012.

Should this proposal be approved?
