Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Atlantic City
Municipal Utilities Authority
It is no longer
necessary for customers to boil their water before using, however it is
strongly recommended that you run your water faucets for 3-5 minutes to flush
your interior plumbing. Empty and clean your automatic ice makers and water
chillers. Drain and refill your hot water heater if the temperature is set below
113 degrees Fahrenheit. Water softner/cartridge filters should be run through a regeneration
cycle or other manufacturer-recommended procedures. For more information visit:

of Emergency, Mandatory Evacuations, Curfew, etc.
A state of emergency remains in effect throughout Atlantic
County and a nightly curfew remains in effect, 6 PM - 6 AM, in all 5 barrier
island communities (Brigantine, Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate and Longport).
The mandatory evacuation was lifted yesterday for Brigantine, Margate and
Longport but remains in effect at this time for Atlantic City and Ventnor.

Shelters
The shelter located at the Buena Regional High School closed last evening,
November 1. Occupants were moved to the Buena Middle School which remains open
in addition to the shelters at the Pleasantville High School and Middle School
and the medical needs shelter at St. Augustine Prep. Preparations are being
made at this time to begin transitioning residents back to their homes as soon
as it is safe to do so.

Rain moved in Saturday afternoon and the chance for it will stick around through the seven day forecast.
It becomes very unsettled across our area with clounds and showers again Sunday. The best chance for rain is in the morning and afternoon thunderstorms are possible towards our south.
Sunday is cool but we do warm up well into the 80s by Tuesday. With the warm weather comes a better chance for thunderstorms.
