Mitt Romney's sons visiting SE Mich. ahead of vote

Posted: Updated:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Get-out-the-vote efforts aimed at driving Michigan voters to the polls are taking place across Michigan on the final day before Tuesday's election.

Matt Romney and Josh Romney on Monday plan to visit Grand Rapids, Lansing, Livonia, Monroe, Ann Arbor and Grand Blanc in support of the election bid of their father, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Michigan's Republican Gov. Gov. Rick Snyder also plans a number of stops, some of them accompanied by Lt. Gov. Brian Calley.

Democrats also planned a last-minute push to get voters to polling places. And efforts by those on both sides of ballot proposals before Michigan voters are planned.
