Hamilton Township, N.J. -
Officials with the South Jersey Transportation Authority, which operates the Atlantic City Expressway and the Atlantic City International Airport, says they are ready for this week's storm.
Officials on Tuesday said all equipment and trucks of all types had been tested and were ready to be placed into service.
"We want to make sure residents and visitors alike know we are prepared for any storm that may come along," Acting Executive Director Sam Donelson said in a statement.
The SJTA says it is working closely with the state and county Office of Emergency Management on any storm updates.
"It is important that our citizens know there is a way out of the barrier islands, including Atlantic City, if an evacuation is ordered," Donelson said.
The storm is expected to make its way into our area on Wednesday.
