Jersey Shore Already Seeing Nor'easter’s Wind, Waves

Posted: Updated:
AVALON, N.J. -

New Jersey residents are really being tested this week. Many are still cleaning up from Hurricane Sandy while preparing for another powerful storm at the same time.

Communities down the shore are hoping new boards and massive piles of sand will help protect what's left of their homes, in some cases.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reported Wednesday morning from Avalon that the Nor'easter was already making itself known at the shore points.

Yet, even with all the damage from Sandy, most folks we've spoke with in recent days are actually pulling for the hurricane victims further north on the shore, hoping they escape this round from another potentially pounding storm.

This storm could actually dump several inches of snow on our area, as well. FOX 29's Sue Serio is tracking it minute by minute.
