New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie dismissed critics Wednesday after many wondered if his so-called embrace of President Obama after Hurricane Sandy may have helped to sway voters away from Romney.
During a storm briefing on Long Beach Island, Christie told reporters that he's a guy who tells the truth all the time and if the President of the United States does something good, he'll say he did something good.
When asked by a reporter if he expected to be the next person to lead the Republican party, Christie said he just wanted to get through the storm.
New Jersey is still recovering from Hurricane Sandy, which reached the shore a little over a week ago.
