DETROIT (WJBK) -
A man from West Bloomfield is shot to death outside an auto repair shop in Detroit and his family is hoping someone will help police catch his killer.
Detroit police tell FOX 2 News Samir Hannawa was shot at the Great Lakes transmission shop on Wyoming in Detroit on Wednesday.
Witnesses say the victim was approached by two men who shot him in the chest and then fled the scene without taking any of Hannawa's belongings. His family is pleading with the public to find his killer.
Hannawa's daughter Athraa said, 'my dad was a hard worker, he always told us if you want to achieve anything in life its through education and hard work. He left behind seven children who love him dearly. He's not going to watch us grow up, and that's probably the hardest part. If you know anything please come forward."
Samir was at the business to check on his car.
