GEORGETOWN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Brides Across America is teaming up with the bridal industry's leading sale to provide military brides, as well as brides affected by Hurricane Sandy, the opportunity to make their dreams come true by receiving a free wedding gown.
As part of the partnership, Tulle Bridal in Georgetown, Mass. will be hosting an event on Nov. 8 and will be donating designer wedding gowns to military brides who qualify for the program and those who lost wedding gowns in the Hurricane. The salon is also extending the event to those in the National Guard who assisted with storm rescue and repair.
In order to qualify, brides or their fiancé must be serving in the military; either currently deployed or deployed within the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Libya, Korea or Japan. Identification and deployment papers must be presented at the event to qualify.
Brides Across America, a non-profit organization, will host their 6th annual bridal gown giveaway at salons nationwide. To date, Brides Across America has donated over 8,000 wedding gowns from prominent designers.
