DETROIT (WJBK) -- "You don't know how it feels until it's you. It's a feeling, I can't describe it," said Donna Wells.
Her 33-year-old daughter, Tamala Wells, disappeared over three months ago. Her family is trying to stay strong, but hope is hard to come by.
Tamala left her house on the night of August 6. Her boyfriend says he believed she was going to be with friends. Her mother says she spoke to her around 10:30 that night. She had no idea that was going to be the last time.
Tamala's car was just dumped in a neighborhood on Detroit's east side miles away from her home. A few items of clothing were discovered inside, but Tamala was nowhere to be found.
"People just don't disappear. Someone that day saw something," said Rev. Andrew Perry from the Exodus Missionary Baptist Church.
They're hoping that a $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers will urge witnesses to come forward and end this family's suffering. The number to call is 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
