Staten Island is one of the areas severely hit by hurricane sandy. Two weeks later residents are still struggling to recover.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the host of "The Dr. Oz Show," went out there last Thursday to check on people's health and to see first hand how they are trying to put their lives back together.

"The Dr. Oz Show" airs on Fox 5 on weekdays at 4 p.m.
