by FOX 25 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz:
Temperatures are dropping a quick 10 degrees behind a cold front moving through this morning.
Heavy downpours and gusty winds are ahead of the front, with more showers behind the front. Highs will have been in the 60s early this morning, but will be in the 40s through the evening commute.
I expect lows in the 30s overnight most places, with some upper 20s northwest of Worcester. Cape Cod may stay in the 40s with clouds hanging on all night.
This is quite a change in the weather after highs hit 70 in some towns Monday. The sun returns for all Wednesday, but with highs only in the 40s.
I'm still watching a possible coastal storm for next week. It doesn't exist yet, except on computer charts, so just keep up with the forecast. Timing would be during the busy travel time before Thanksgiving, so it is an important storm to watch.
