DETROIT (WJBK) - Happy's Pizza is once again joining forces with Greater Grace Temple to give coats to children in need this holiday season.
To kick off the event, Detroit Lions Nate Burleson and Stephen Tulloch will hand out coat vouchers to customers beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday inside the Happy's location at 20150 W. 7 Mile Road in Detroit.
Kids can redeem their vouchers for a coat during Happy's 'Coats for Kids' drive, hosted by former Lions offensive lineman Lomas Brown, on Nov. 17 from 1-3 p.m. at New Rogell golf course (18601 Berg Road in Detroit). Kids without vouchers will be given coats on a first-come, first-served basis between 3-5 p.m. while supplies last.
The coats are for children ages 3 to14 with sizes ranging from 2T to XXL.
