PHILADELPHIA -

Police shot and killed a teenager in Kensington on Wednesday night after they say he shot his aunt, then pointed the gun at police.

It happened just before 8 p.m. on the 3400 block of Braddock Street.

Investigators say the teen shot the woman during an argument.

Police officers who responded to the call say they found the woman lying outside of the home on the sidewalk.

Police say the teen then allegedly pointed the weapon at them. Cops shot him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency responders at the scene tell FOX 29 the woman was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
