A customer who entered a business on the 900 block of West Somerset Street Wednesday and asked "where's my money" was shot by the store's owner after a struggle, Philadelphia Police said.
According to police, the man entered the store shortly after 6:15 p.m. and asked "where's my money."
Police say the owner of the store moved away from the customer and went into a cashier's booth, but the customer followed and dragged the owner out.
According to police, that's when the owner shot the suspect.
Not the prettiest Friday, but we're ready for a great weekend. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. After an early high in the upper sixties, temperatures fall & winds pick up out of the chillier northwest. Right now the Memorial Day Weekend looks sunny and cool with highs in the low to mid 60s on Saturday, in the 70s Sunday & Monday. Cooler temps at the shore.
