NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Officials are investigating a fire that burned a three-story apartment house in Nashua, leaving 24 people without a home.

The Nashua Fire Department said nobody was injured in the three-alarm fire, which burned the apartment house and an adjacent one-story brick storage building around 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Nashua Telegraph reported that the Nashua Soup Kitchen owns the three-story building and that 24 residents were referred to the American Red Cross for assistance.

The state fire marshal's office and Nashua police are investigating the cause.
