3-Alarm Fire At Chemical Plant In Buckingham Township Under Control

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -
A three-alarm fire erupted at a chemical plant in Buckingham Township early Tuesday morning.
The fire was at P&R Industries Inc., a 55,000-square-foot chemical factory that makes an industrial protective coating called Arbonite, which is used to line tankers and other types of containers.
Flames broke out before 6 a.m., and the fire quickly escalated to 3-alarms. Crews from surrounding areas reported to the scene. A total of twelve crews helped battle the blaze. It was pfficially under control at 7:40 a.m.
No evacuations are being reported at this time, nor are there any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There is a report on one firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital.
There are multiple road closures around the scene.
