STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police say a baby was held at gunpoint in a home invasion in Stamford and two suspects have been arrested.
Mikel Gjuraj and his alleged accomplice, whose name was withheld because he is a juvenile, were charged Saturday with home invasion, unlawful restraint, robbery, assault and other offenses.
Police say the unidentified resident was beaten by three armed men who then searched the apartment and forced him, his wife, 4-month old baby and two friends to get onto the floor.
Police say 1 of the robbers grabbed the child and threatened to shoot her if the victims didn't turn over money. The men fled with cash and jewelry.
Police are looking for the third suspect.
Gjuraj is being held on $750,000 bond. It wasn't known Tuesday morning if he is represented by a lawyer.
