Missing autistic man in NYC found safe

The missing 19-year-old man with autism who disappeared from a Midtown store was found and in good health. 

John Vahidi of Brooklyn had disappeared from inside Saks Fifth Avenue on 611 Fifth Avenue around 5:00 p.m. Friday. 

Vahidi was last seen wearing a red and white checkered button down shirt, blue jeans, a navy blue waist length jacket and black New Balance sneakers.  

The public is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577 when there is a report of a missing person.
