New York police are looking into allegations that shredded paper used as confetti during Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade actually contained sensitive information, including Social Security numbers and even bank account information.
A curious college freshman couldn't believe what he was reading, including details about undercover detectives.
Officials say the records came from police on Long Island.
