BOSTON (AP) — Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is moving into office space at his son's Boston-area venture capital firm.
It's unclear what role, if any, the former businessman will play at Solamere Capital.
Solamere was founded by his oldest son, Tagg Romney, and Spencer Zwick, the national finance committee chairman for Romney's presidential bid.
Former aides speaking on the condition of anonymity said Romney was subletting office space from Solamere. The aides were not authorized to publicly discuss the plans.
Romney virtually disappeared from politics following loss in the Nov. 6 election. He has spent the last three weeks largely in seclusion at his family's southern California home.
He's scheduled to meet privately with President Barack Obama at the White House on Thursday.
