NJ Sale Locations Announced For Million-Dollar Powerball Winners

Posted: Updated:

New Jersey Lottery officials have announced locations where eight $1,000,000-winning tickets from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing were sold.

Two of the tickets – which had the Match 5 numbers but not the Powerball – were sold in the FOX 29 viewing area, according to the NJ Lottery's announcement Thursday morning on Twitter.

One million-dollar winner was sold in Ocean County and purchased at Fleet Petroleum in Lakewood, the lottery says.

Another winning ticket was purchased at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City.

There's one new millionaire in Bergen County after a ticket was bought at a Hess Express in Fort Lee. And five others were sold in Hudson County at the following locations: Sunset Deli & Liquor in Kearny; Corner Store in Bayonne; Kary Candy & Wash in Union City; Park Avenue Grocery in Guttenberg; and Danforth Deli in Jersey City.

"Congratulations to the EIGHT new, New Jersey, millionaires!! #Powerball," the lottery tweeted.

The lottery says 450,781 tickets in New Jersey are worth something. Some 239,159 matched just the Powerball and are worth $4.

Two tickets sold in Arizona and Missouri matched all six numbers to win the second-largest top prize in U.S. lottery history.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced where its three million-dollar-winning tickets were sold later on Thursday.
