Former Eagle Babin Rips Philly Sports Writers

Posted: Updated:

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jason Babin sent a message to Philadelphia's sports writers Thursday: You don't tie your shoes and you have "stinky breath."

The new member of the Jacksonville Jaguars spoke out, saying, "..besides loaded questions, Philly writers didn't tie shoes, wore shorts and had stinky breath."

Babin also said in regards to Philadelphia, "things are kind of stagnant. They could ultimately get worse before they get better."

The two-time Pro Bowl defensive end was claimed off waivers by the Jaguars, 2-9, Wednesday.

According to the Associated Press, the Jaguars will pay the remaining $1.69 million of Babin's 2012 salary.
