Four Hofstra University basketball players are accused of multiple burglaries in campus dorm rooms.
Nassau County police are identifying them as Kentrell Washington of Las Vegas; Jimmy Hall of Brooklyn; Dallas Anglin of Montclair, N.J.; and Shaquille Stokes of Manhattan.
The four faced arraignment Friday in district court.
Police say cash, a laptop, headphones, three MacBook Pros, an Apple iPod, two Apple iPads and an Apple iTouch were taken in six burglaries on the Uniondale campus between Oct. 4 and Nov. 5.
Some of the items recovered by police were displayed during a news conference on Friday afternoon.
Fox 5 News reported that the team's coach might have also been targeted in one of the thefts.
In a statement, Hofstra says the four men's basketball team members have been suspended from the university pending the outcome of the case. The statement says Hofstra's Department of Public Safety cooperated with Nassau police.
The lawyer for two of the players says his clients are innocent of the charges.
Hall is the team's No. 2 scorer. He and Stokes started in six of the team's seven games this season.
