E. Coli found in Easton town well - Boston News, Weather, Sports | FOX 25 | MyFoxBoston

The Town of Easton notified residents Tuesday that an untreated water sample from a town well had tested positive for E. coli bacteria.

Officials said that they discovered the bacteria Tuesday in one of the town's pumping stations.

They said that no E. coli had been found in any treated samples and was only found in one untreated sample.

Officials said residents do not have to boil water at this point.
