A 37-year-old man was arrested at Boston University after police said he was taking inappropriate photos of women at Mugar Memorial Library.
BU's Daily Free Press student newspaper said the man was taking photos of women sitting at desks on the third floor of the library.
Officers did not say exactly what the man was photographing only telling The Independent that the photos "were of an inappropriate nature."
Officers told the paper that the man was not associated with the university. He has since been banned from school property.
The man was not identified by police. He was arrested on charges of secret photographic and electronic surveillance.
