DETROIT (WJBK) -- Kwame Kilpatrick's $500 restitution payment for November was received on Wednesday. The former mayor still owes $855,562.60.

Kilpatrick is also headed back to state court on another court ruling that he appealed.

Attorney Daniel Hajji says he's arguing that it's unconstitutional to order that all the money made from the sale of Kilpatrick's book go to the city. The Court of Appeals ordered the case go back before Judge David Groner.

Next Wednesday's status conference is really just to set a date for a future hearing, a hearing where Kilpatrick will be expected to testify about the proceeds from his book sales.
