BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A cyclist was struck and killed Thursday morning by a tractor-trailer in Boston's Brighton neighborhood.
Christopher Weigl, 23, was struck at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and St. Paul Street.
Weigl, a graduate student at Boston University, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The New Century truck driver remained at the scene and was cooperating. No citations were issued. A section of Commonwealth Avenue was closed during the investigation.
A BU student riding his bicycle was killed in Allston last month.
