Man Dead After North Philadelphia Shooting

Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide that happened in North Philadelphia overnight.

Police were called to the 2600 block of Stanley Street for reports of a person with a gun just shortly after 2:00 A.M. Saturday.  Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There are no arrests at this time.
