When the world's biggest stars converge on stage at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, they'll be raising money for superstorm Sandy victims.

The money raised during 12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief will go directly to the Robin Hood Foundation, a not-for-profit group that helps those most in need in New York City.

The charity's President and COO, Deborah Winshel, and Sister Paulette Lomonaco, spoke with GDNY on Tuesday about the event and its connection to the Robin Hood Foundation.
