Dave Price and his wife, Jackie, welcomed a baby boy to the world on Wednesday.

Elis Harold Price was born on 12-12-12 at 1:21 p.m.  He weighed 7.85 lbs. and is 19.5 inches.

Dave told viewers on Thursday that he is overcome with joy on their child's arrival and that his wife was doing very well.

"I just started crying. There was this rush of thoughts that I couldn't begin to summarize. Your whole life before, your love for your life, your wishes for the future, being blessed by your family and friends. This beautiful thing just came into your life. I pray I can be as great a father as my dad was to me and as Jackie's dad was to her," said Dave.

Jackie went into labor during Good Day NY on Wednesday. Dave ran out during an interview with actor Mandy Patinkin to get to the hospital in time.

"Elis Harold is his formal name. Jackie's dad's who passed away years ago, his name was Harold. We did that to honor him."

It is the first child for the couple.

A big congratulations to Dave and family!
