BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Siblings in Boston may be able to attend the same school thanks to a new proposal.
According to The Boston Globe, about 5,000 kids could go to different schools from their older brothers or sisters.
Boston school officials are hoping to stop that. They submitted a plan that would allow younger siblings to attend their older siblings' school through 2020.
Zoning laws could have parents running to two different schools and dealing with different teachers for their children.
A panel accepted the proposal which sends it to the school committee for a final vote.
