PHILADELPHIA -

The search continues to find a hit-and-run driver in Frankford who struck and killed a woman on Christmas night.

On Thursday morning, police identified the victim as 54-year-old Denise Williams, of the 5400 block of Euclid Street.

Police say that, according to witness statements, a black Dodge Charger hit Williams at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday on the 3100 block of Frankford Avenue.

Witnesses told police that a Hispanic woman in her 40s exited the driver side of the vehicle, then got back into her vehicle and fled the scene, despite witnesses' calls to stop.

Investigators are also working with witnesses to get a better description of the driver and the vehicle.

If you know anything about this crash, give police a call.
