A Bucks County single mom moved her entire family to Philadelphia to help her terminally ill child. And that's when she says someone swiped her only way to safely transport her 2-year-old son, Ronnie.
"It means freedom," Debbie Seals says of the van. "It means going to doctors visits and being able to be with him all day and taking him safely to the park."
Ronnie suffers from Cerebral Palsy, he's blind, deaf and suffers from a host of other ailments.
He's fed through tubes--has to wear a body brace and his oxygen intake is monitored 24/7
"Since birth he's been resuscitated at least 40 times," says his mom.
All the health issues are why Seals, a single mother of four, moved her family to Philly.
She wanted Ronnie to be closer to the care he needs at Children's Hospital.
Problem is Seals says, her family's stay in the City of Brotherly Love hasn't been kind.
She says someone stole her wheelchair accessible van from in front of her Winfield home.
When she got it back there were multiple parking tickets. Bullet holes in the van and $4,000 worth of damage.
A tab she says she can't afford with her liability insurance-- while she continues to care for her terminally ill son.
