BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) — State police say three people have been arrested after a courthouse argument among family and friends of an alleged victim and defendants before a murder arraignment.

Police said several officers responded after an inaccurate report of shots fired Monday at the Golden Hill Street courthouse in Bridgeport.

Twenty-six-year-old Josue Gullap was charged with assault and breach of the peace. Twenty-year-old Jessica Gullap was charged with criminal mischief, Both are due in court Jan. 11. Twenty-year-old Tyrell Simms was charged with threatening and breach of the peace. He's due in court Jan. 10.

The Connecticut Post reports the dispute arose before 18-year-old Tysaaun Anderson and 17-year-old Kyle Brodie were to be arraigned on murder charges in the Aug. 2 shooting of George Gullap, a teenage relative of the Gullaps. Anderson and Brodie are held on $1 million bail.
