What's Open And Closed On New Year's Day

If you're not going to the Mummers Parade and you're looking for something to do today, here's a list of what's open.

While most museums are closed, some, like Adventure Aquarium, the Please Touch Museum and Philadelphia Museum of Art are all open.

All federal agencies, federal courts, state agencies, local and state courts, schools, libraries and recreation centers are closed today.

Trash and recyclables will not be picked up.

SEPTA and PATCO lines are running on holiday schedules.
