CONCORD, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A New Hampshire mother is accused of posing as a teenager and stalking a boy.

Tamie Cassidy, 39, of Concord is facing stalking and giving a false report to law enforcement charges.

Investigators accuse the woman of sending dozens of text messages, some of which police call disturbing, to a teenage boy. They claim that Cassidy began texting the boy after he broke up with a teenage girl that she knows. She reportedly pretended to be  interested in dating the girl that the teen had recently broken up with.

The Concord Monitor reports that the she is the mother of the boy's ex-girlfriend. The newspaper says both teens are middle school students and she began text messaging him to make the boy jealous following their November breakup.

The 39-year-old is scheduled for arraignment on Feb. 4.
