NH teens accused of robbing convenience store

MANCHESTER, NH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two New Hampshire teens are accused of robbing a convenience store at knife point on Thursday morning.

Manchester Police accuse 19-year-old Jesse Reidy and 18-year-old Brandon Collins of entering the Tedeschi Food Mart on Maple Street just before 1 a.m. and demanding cash from the store clerk while brandishing a knife. Police claim the teens, who they say were masked, took off on foot with several cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

A police officer spotted Reidy and Collins walking through a skate park shortly after the robbery. They began to run after the officer told them to stop.

The teens split up and were caught by two police officers a short time later.

Police claim both teens were found in possession of the stolen cigarettes and the masks believed to be worn during the robbery. They also say Reidy was carrying two knives wrapped in a cloth.

Reidy and Collins are charged with resisting detention and robbery.
