ATLANTA -

Georgia Tech's eight 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference opponents will include home games against ACC newcomers Syracuse and Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh and Syracuse are joining the ACC for the 2013 season. Georgia Tech and Florida State are the only conference teams that will play both newcomers in 2013.

Georgia Tech's last game against Syracuse came in the 2004 Champs Sports Bowl. It last played Pitt in 1976.

The schedule with dates is not ready for release.

Georgia Tech's other home ACC games will be against Virginia Tech and North Carolina. The home schedule includes nonconference opponents Elon, Alabama A&M and Georgia.

The Yellow Jackets will play road conference games at Duke, Miami, Virginia and Clemson and a nonconference game at BYU.
